B-Flexis EX
B-Flexis EX is a minimally invasive interventional system applied with a specially designed catheter and balloon expansion function.
It reduces patient pain and allows faster procedures compared to surgery within a relatively short time.
In addition, through a lightweight structure and precise directional control function, it enables stable access to the target area.
Procedure
After identifying the sacral hiatus, confirm the position using C-arm fluoroscopy equipment.
Position the introducer needle beneath the sacral surface.
Insert the introducer needle into the sacral canal at an angle of 35–50 degrees.
Inject contrast media and confirm the position.
Advance the catheter along the epidural space.
Confirm the catheter port position using C-arm.
(Remove the catheter tip using a syringe before use.)
Gently advance the steerable catheter to the target lesion area.
Expand the balloon by injecting contrast media.
Maintain expansion for 5–10 seconds, and repeat 2–3 times if necessary.
Inject medication through the port.
(Working method: balloon expansion method)
After removing the guide wire, inject medication through the port.
Deflate the balloon after use and remove the catheter and needle.
