Spine
B-Flexis
This is a minimally invasive procedure device applied with a special catheter and balloon expansion function.
It reduces patient pain, does not require general anesthesia, and allows a relatively safe and simple procedure compared to surgery.
The procedure time is approximately 20–30 minutes.
The B-Flexis steerable catheter applies an ergonomic grip to enable precise directional control.
Features
- Access to the lesion is possible with a bidirectional control function capable of bending up to 180°
- Radiopaque catheter with a single-wire structure
- Precise control handle design and lightweight structure reduce operator fatigue during the procedure
- Smooth control and catheter fixation are possible by applying a button-type locking mechanism
- Drug injection and pressure adjustment are possible through the side port
- Cylinder Shape Balloon applied
→ Compared to conventional eccentric balloons, it reduces pain by providing more uniform expansion force
Procedure
Check the position of the sacral hiatus using C-arm fluoroscopy equipment.
Insert the introducer needle beneath the sacral surface.
Insert the introducer needle into the sacral canal at an angle of 35–50 degrees.
After removing the stylet, inject contrast media.
Advance the catheter along the epidural space.
Advance the catheter by adjusting the catheter level.
(Confirm the position using C-arm / Remove the catheter using a syringe before use)
Inject contrast media using a disposable syringe to expand the balloon.
Maintain expansion for 5–10 seconds, and repeat 2–3 times if necessary.
Inject medication through the lock valve.
(The catheter can be controlled while the balloon is in the expanded state)
After deflating the balloon, remove the catheter and needle after use.
